Being tired of overcrowded and poorly maintained gyms, the ethos behind City Athletic is to create a club that incorporates state-of-the-art equipment, with the space, support & expertise to focus on every member’s goals & needs.
We have a strict cap on membership, not to be ostentatious or snooty, but to create a strong community atmosphere and to allow our coaches and staff the environment to really deliver on our mission of providing “Performance for All”.
The FOH/ Fitness Instructor role is pivotal at City Athletic. This role represents the first impression of the business and leads our popular small group fitness classes.
This team member is responsible for the following:
- Meeting and greeting all club members and guests and creating a welcoming and friendly environment.
- Cleaning and housekeeping of the club.
- Be knowledgeable on club information including: equipment, timetable, instructors, pricing, etc.
- Create a rapport with club members.
- Sales outreach e.g. leafleting and attending events.
- Reporting maintenance issues to management.
- Teach small group classes.
- Opening and closing the club.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum Level 2 in Fitness Instructing Required
- Experience teaching small group exercise classes required
Working model
- 8 hour shifts with 30 minutes paid break.
- Pay is £11.50 per hour.
- Shifts between Monday - Saturday.
- You'll be paid monthly on the last working day of each month.
