
The role
ARA Athletic is a premier small group personal training facility dedicated to helping our clients achieve their health and fitness goals through personal training, state-of-the-art equipment, and a supportive community. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Full-Time Personal Trainer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of promoting health and fitness in the North East.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Full-Time Personal Trainer to provide individualised personal training and support to our clients in the small group setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in exercise science, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to helping clients achieve their fitness goals safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct movement assessments for new clients to establish their baseline fitness levels.
- Coach small group personal training & larger group sessions.
- Monitor and track clients' progress, adjusting programs as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Educate clients on proper nutrition, lifestyle changes, and overall wellness to complement their fitness routines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised training environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and continuing education.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage long-term commitment to their fitness journey.
- Participate in promotional and community events to attract new clients and build brand awareness.
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals and staff to create a supportive and motivating environment for all members.
What we’re looking for
- Level 3 Personal Training
- Proven experience as a personal trainer or in a related role will be beneficial.
- An understanding of exercise physiology, nutrition, and program design.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients of all fitness levels.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Passion for fitness and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Working model
- £24,000 per year salary
- Full-time, permanent role
- Monday to Friday - Weekend availability
- Ability to commute to Newacstle upon tyne
