The role

Inferno Fitness in Hersham is on the lookout for a determined Personal Trainer ready to take the bull by the horns. In this role, you’ll be delivering high-energy, bespoke personal training sessions and leading group fitness classes that keep clients motivated and coming back for more. You'll also provide expert advice on nutrition, lifestyle, and overall well-being, ensuring every client gets the personalised attention they need to smash their fitness goals. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in welcoming new members and maintaining a professional, well-organised training environment.

What we’re looking for

You need to have your Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 2 Gym Instructor qualifications firmly in your pocket, along with proven experience in both personal training and group fitness. A solid understanding of strength and conditioning principles is a must, as is a no-nonsense, results-driven approach. If you’re a self-starter who can work independently yet thrives as part of a team, then you might just be the person we’re after.

Working model

The working model is straightforward:  You’ll start off part-time with a 24-hours of shift time, which means you'll be right at the heart of the action—running fitness classes and keeping the gym floor humming along. With the potential to transition into a full-time role as you build your personal training business. You’ll earn £15 per hour on the gym floor and during group classes, while personal training sessions pay £22.50 per hour. With the right mix of gym and PT hours, you could see your earnings soar to between £40,000 and £60,000+ per year. It’s a set-up that rewards hard work and dedication directly.

Our benefits

There are plenty of benefits on offer too. You’ll have access to premium facilities with elite equipment – think plate-loaded machines, functional rigs, assault bikes, and curved treadmills – all designed to help you train at the highest level. On top of that, you’ll enjoy perks such as private healthcare, physiotherapy, dental and optical cover, a free gym membership for you and a family member, and free onsite parking. The environment is supportive, results-driven, and geared towards helping both trainers and members reach their peak performance.

The company

Inferno Fitness is based in Hersham, just a 5 minute walk from the train station. Inferno Fitness is one of Surrey’s leading strength and conditioning facilities, with a huge selection of high spec equipment. We take pride in helping our members lay out their health and fitness goals and build towards achieving them. Whether that goal is a lifestyle change, health orientated, overall fitness, event training or targeted muscle building, our clients use the specialist guidance from our expert PT’s and coaches (with the helping hand of our equipment!) to excel and transform their lives. It’s not about the numbers, it’s about the people and their results.

Application process

When it comes to applying, we keep things simple and direct. Send through your CV and a cover letter that highlights your qualifications, experience, and no-nonsense approach to personal training. You can expect an interview process that not only looks at your practical skills and training philosophy but also assesses how well you can connect with clients and drive your own business forward.

How to prepare

Before you apply, make sure you’re well-prepared to stand out. Double-check that your qualifications are up-to-date and gather any evidence of your past successes – think client testimonials, measurable fitness results, or examples of how you’ve built your client base. Brush up your CV so it clearly showcases your strengths and your passion for training. Finally, be ready to articulate your training philosophy and how you plan to thrive in a high-performance, community-focused environment. This is your chance to show that you have what it takes to not just do the job, but to excel at it.
