What we’re looking for

What We’re Looking ForWe want coaches who are dedicated, proactive, and long-term thinkers. You should be an excellent communicator, an attentive listener, and someone who thrives both independently and within a team. This isn’t a ‘9-5’ role—it’s an opportunity to lead, grow, and make a lasting impact.

Working model

How We Pay

You are paid per session delivered. For example, if you conduct 120 sessions in a month, you are paid for 120 sessions.

How We Build Your Client Base

Unless you're stepping into an existing client base, you’ll start with an empty diary, which we actively fill for you.

Fitness Lab consistently attracts 25–35 new clients per month across the business, and we handle client acquisition to help build your schedule. At the start, your role will be more consultation-heavy, transitioning over time into a more balanced mix of consultations and personal training sessions.

Typical diary build-up period:

  • 8–12 weeks to reach 15-20 sessions per week
  • Growth depends on consultation success and client retention

Our Mission & Mindset

At Fitness Lab, our mission is clear: to be the best personal training company in London. Achieving this requires more than great technical coaching — it demands a mindset of excellence in every detail and a willingness to go above and beyond for our clients.

We’re looking for coaches who:

  • See this role as a career, not a “9 to 5” job — sometimes client admin may need to be handled late at night, while other times your schedule allows flexibility.
  • Understand that personal training is a service industry and requires a hospitality mindset. Every client interaction, in and out of the studio, shapes their experience.
  • Appreciate that small details matter: the way you write an email, how towels are folded in the studio, the tone you set when greeting a client — these are just as important to their experience as the session you deliver.
  • Don’t have an ego that places them “above” the small jobs. At Fitness Lab, every action contributes to our standard of being the very best, and no task is too small when it comes to creating the right client experience.

This is the culture and expectation you’ll be stepping into — one where excellence is built from the ground up, every single day.

Your Role & Key Performance Metrics

At Fitness Lab, our goal is to make your life as simple as possible so you can focus on mastering your craft and delivering an outstanding client experience.

Your success in this role is measured by:

  • Client retention – maintaining strong relationships with the clients we bring to you
  • Diary occupancy – keeping a high percentage of weekly and monthly booked sessions
  • Professionalism & communication – both in and outside the studio

We are fully committed to supporting you in your success, and in return, we expect a high standard of dedication, professionalism, and communication.

Our benefits

Benefits:

  • Clients are provided
  • No rent
  • Company events
  • Access to on-site gym facilities
