PB Gym is restructuring and we’re building a new team of three motivated, self-employed personal trainers. If you’re a confident, experienced trainer with an established client base and looking to be part of something bigger, this is your chance to join a dynamic, supportive environment.

What we’re looking for
We are seeking a professional, driven, and client-focused personal trainer who is passionate about fitness and committed to helping members achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will be a qualified, proactive, and dedicated individual who can contribute to a positive gym environment while managing an independent client base.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:
- Qualified & Experienced: Must hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in fitness instruction or personal training, along with a valid First Aid certificate. You bring not only the technical expertise but also the experience to work with clients safely and effectively.
- Client-Centred & Self-Sufficient: With an established client base of at least 10 clients, you’re already recognized for your coaching skills and client results. You’re committed to growing your business independently while being part of our gym community.
- Insured & Responsible: You carry your own insurance and understand the importance of professionalism and accountability in the fitness industry.
- Engaging & Personable: You maintain an active presence on the gym floor, connecting with members, offering guidance, and creating a supportive environment. You’re approachable, responsive, and always ready to help members with queries or fitness advice.
- Proactive in Member Acquisition: You’re motivated to expand your client base and will independently attract at least 3 new members each month, contributing to the gym’s growth.
- Team-Oriented: Although you’re self-sufficient, you value being part of a team and attend weekly Zoom briefings to align with our gym’s goals and updates.
- Cleanliness & Safety Focused: You take pride in keeping our gym a safe and welcoming space, always ensuring equipment is sanitized and organized, helping maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Independent & Business-Minded: You’re ready to manage your business independently, with the flexibility to pay rent in advance, allowing you to structure your workflow and business as you see fit.

The company
Fully equipped Indi gym in Teignmouth, affectionately known as 'the Gem of South Devon', the town boasts exceptional views of Dartmoor, the Teign Estuary and Lyme Bay.
The gym itself is situated on the Estuary Court Industrial Estate and was opened in 2019 by Eddie 'The Beast' Hall , building a strong local reputation for its 5 star reviews in having great atmosphere, kit and service.
Locals and visitors alike enjoy the chance to train alongside giants, not just Eddie Hall, but many others from all walks of life from Atlantic rowers, Olympic athletes to Muse, a band originating from Teignmouth, have been known to train here when in town.
Application process
Applicants should apply via email expression in the first instance with their CV and a covering letter. Those shortlisted will be invited to interview at the venue.
