The role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Part-Time Sports Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team at Natural Alignment.
The ideal candidate will specialise in applying therapeutic massage techniques to help athletes and active individuals maintain peak physical performance, recover from injuries, and prevent future injuries. This role requires expertise in sports massage and an understanding of sports-related injuries and recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial consultations to understand client needs, evaluate areas of concern, and determine appropriate massage therapy.
- Develop and implement personalised massage plans that address specific athlete needs and goals.
- Provide sports massage treatments that include but are not limited to deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and stretching techniques.
- Advise clients on post-massage care including stretches and recovery techniques.
- You will work closely with our physiotherapists and other team members in the clinic to ensure the smooth running of thr facility. Refer clients to other specialists within the clinic as needed.
Assist in the upkeep of the massage therapy room and equipment. Ensure all supplies are stocked and maintained.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
What we’re looking for
- You must hold an Ofqual regulated Level 3 in Sports Massage at minimum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to tailor massage techniques to individual needs, strong organisational skills, and a high level of professionalism.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.

Application process
There is two stages to the application process.
Firstly we will call you to discuss your application and arrange a face to face interview.
The second stage will be a practical assessment at our clinic in Liverpool where you will be required to demonstrate some massage techniques.
